One-Time Service

Food Distribution at East Price Hill Community Center

12 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Every Tuesday

11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Every Friday

Hold a “Drive” for food, clothing, books, games, school supplies, cleaning supplies
Time coordinated with lead volunteer for drive

 

Help with organization and clean-up at East Price Hill Family Center
Any time during the week that is convenient for interested volunteers

  • Organizing the clothing closet or basement storage areas
  • Unboxing and organizing different learning items for programs

Workforce Development Center

Time flexible

  • Assist clients with job/interview skills

Tutoring at East Price Hill Community Center 

    • Bilingual (Spanish) tutors for ESL/GED tutoring sessions

Agency Needs

  • Time flexible/varies
  • Maintenance projects & landscaping
  • Do you have any special talents, skills or experience you’d like to share? Please let Lynne know.
  • Assist at Santa Maria events including two health fairs every year in spring and fall, Passport to Success Fundraiser in the fall and Tax help at Elder High School between January – April

On-going Service

Joe Williams Family Center

2:30pm – 5:00pm/6th-8th grade students on Tuesdays & Thursdays 

  • Supervising gym/basketball, leading activity centers, such as arts and crafts, gardening, games, etc.

East Price Hill Family Center

Times will vary

  • Bilingual (Spanish) interpreters

Family Centered Services

Times will vary

  • Various duties as assigned

Workforce Development Center

Time flexible

  • Assist caseworkers/coaches to reach out to clients to support them through stability
  • Assist work coaches with client follow-up
  • Assist clients with job/interview skills
  • Tutor Spanish-speaking GED students
  • Volunteer to teach ESL classes. Monday – Thursday, times vary.

Tutoring 

    • Bilingual (Spanish) tutors for ESL/GED tutoring sessions
