Santa Maria Community Services held the 2018 annual Family Health Fair on April 8 at the Price Hill Recreation Center. The event provided free health screenings, a Kid’s Health Zone, and additional free health resources from community health organizations. 242 community members attended the event, 110 of which were screened for a total of 247 health screenings including: adult vision; youth vision; cholesterol; mammogram; STI/pregnancy; primary care; audiology; blood pressure/blood glucose; posture; prostate cancer; dental; BMI; HIV/Hep C/Syphilis; and A1C. Food, raffles, and Zumba were also included in the event.
