Our employment services include career exploration, job search coaching, resume and cover letter help, job applications, interview training, job placement, and ongoing support for people 18 and older.

Financial Coaching

Santa Maria Community Services offers free help with learning how to manage your personal finances.

We offer one-on-one financial coaching, education, and tools to help people save more, improve credit, lower debt, and build long-term financial stability.

Coaches also guide families through available public benefits and local resources, like food assistance, health coverage, and free library or recreation center programs.

Each session includes a full financial review to spot savings opportunities and build a plan. We help participants understand credit reports, learn basic banking, avoid hidden fees, and connect to safe, affordable financial services.
