A thank you to the foundations who contributed third quarter

Santa Maria Community Services is pleased to announce it has received four grants supporting its programs and services for the 2019 year. The grants were awarded by the Ruth J. and Robert A. Conway Foundation, US Bank Foundation, WesBanco, and Cincy-Cinco for the following programs and services:

  1. Ruth J. and Robert A. Conway Foundation awarded Santa Maria $5,000 for the Health and Wellness program, which helps individuals, including immigrants, improve their accessibility to healthcare services.
  2. US Bank Foundation awarded Santa Maria $10,000 for the Workforce Development program, which provides job-readiness training, resume and cover letter development, job placement, and job retention counseling for economically disadvantaged young men and women age 16+.
  3. WesBanco awarded Santa Maria $1,000 for general operating support.
  4. Cincy-Cinco awarded Santa Maria a $2,500 in support of the 2020 Family Resource Fair, which will provide free health screenings, a Kid’s Health Zone, and additional free health resources from community health organizations.
