Santa Maria Community Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Lahni as its newest board member.
Chris is the Chief Financial Officer at Nehemiah Manufacturing Company, LLC. Chris joined Nehemiah in January 2013 after four years in public accounting with such firms as PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP and BKD, LLP and a brief stint in the Real Estate Development Industry. Nehemiah is a profit for a purpose company whose mission is to build brands, create jobs, and change lives through employment and whole life coaching. Founded in 2009, Nehemiah now employs over 200 FTEs in the inner city of Cincinnati.
Chris’ role at Nehemiah comprises of overseeing the Accounting/Finance, Information Technology, Production Planning, Human Resource, and most importantly the Social Service Department. The Social Service Department is entrusted to help remove barriers that Nehemiah’s family members have for successful long-term employment.
Chris said, “As a lifelong WestSider and Proud Alumni of Elder High School (’03), the Price Hill Community has always had a special place in my heart. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to join such a prestigious organization and play a role in the continued mission to provide tools and resources to building strong families, promote healthy residents, and foster neighborhood revitalization.”
Chris received his B.S.B.A. with a Concentration in Accounting with Great Distinction from Xavier University’s Williams School of Business. Chris resides in Miami Township (West) with his wife of 14 years and is the proud father of two girls (8 and 5).
