Santa Maria Community Services is launching a bold new vision for Price Hill: a centralized community hub designed to bring people together and strengthen families. With the One Building, Thriving Families capital campaign, we’re building something that truly rises to meet the needs of Price Hill, a home as strong as the families we serve. This 26,600-square-foot facility on Considine Avenue will house the majority of Santa Maria’s core services under one roof, removing transportation and access barriers that too often stand in the way of progress.

Our future home will be designed with the community in mind. Features will include:

  • A modern, accessible layout

  • Intake spaces with interactive activities for young children

  • Private family coaching offices

  • A computer lab for job searches and skill-building

  • Walk-up food pantry to meet basic needs with dignity
  • Clothing closet with laundry facilities

This new hub will make it easier for our team and our community partner organizations to meet the needs of our program participants, all in one place.

Each year, 3,000 individuals rely on Santa Maria for support in education, early childhood development, employment, financial stability, and health. But our current offices are scattered and outdated. After nearly 130 years, it’s finally time to build an intentional, energy-efficient space that reflects the strength, resilience, and capability of the families we serve.

Thanks to generous private donors, foundations, and public partners, we’ve already raised over $15.5 million of our $16.5 million goal. We are now entering the public phase of this historic campaign, and your support can help get us across the finish line.
