Santa Maria Community Services, Inc. is pleased to present Summer Safety Fest 2021. This fun family event will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Swing Park and Aaron Raines Garden located at 2121 Hatmaker Street, Cincinnati, OH 45204 in Lower Price Hill.
Families are invited to enjoy free food and music, and join the conversation to prevent violence and substance abuse in our community. There will be free bike repair as well as free locks, lights, and helmets. Individuals may bring a bike for maintenance or a tune-up and receive guidance for getting around Cincinnati by bike.
“Price Hill has seen a rise in violence and substance abuse in recent years,” said H.A. Musser, Jr., President and CEO of Santa Maria Community services. “At our Summer Safety Fest 2021 we would like to start a conversation on ways to prevent these issues in our community. Price Hill youth are experiencing overwhelming pain and trauma in the wake of these issues. We want to help them speak up against hate, xenophobia, substance abuse and violence.”
Santa Maria is grateful to these sponsors who made this event possible: The Lower Price Hill Collaborative for Violence Prevention, Oyler School, Meiser’s Fresh Grocery & Deli, Prevention First, Caracole, Cincinnati Red Bike, Queen City Bike, MoBo Bicycle Cooperative and the Center for Addiction Treatment.
