The 12th annual Price Hill Pacer 5k/10k Walk/Run and One Mile “Hart” walk was held June 3 at Elder High School’s Schaeper Center. The event was hosted by Santa Maria and Price Hill community partner, Price Hill Will, as well as supported by Presenting Sponsor, Macy’s, and Corporate Sponsor, the SC Ministry Foundation.
Over 245 individuals registered for this year’s event, which included a Kids Fun Run, food and drinks, snow cones, face painting, balloon creations, prizes, raffles, live DJing by Steve Mann with 103.5 WGRR, yoga, various vendor booths, music by 93.3 along the race route, post-race stretching with Mercy Health Orthopedics and Sports Rehabilitation, and more.
The Price Hill Pacer raised over $10,000 for the programs and services of both Santa Maria and Price Hill Will, both of which support the Price Hill community.
