On June 12, Santa Maria held its first ever Painting with a Purpose fundraiser at Painting with a Twist–Cincinnati West. 39 participants came to paint the night away with family and friends, while raising $600 toward the programs and services of Santa Maria. Staff, board, and friends of Santa Maria, including community members, spent the evening enjoying food, refreshments, and great conversation while being taught step-by-step instructions on how to paint Painting with a Twist’s chosen artwork “Sunset in Paradise.” Each guest left with their own painting and a Santa Maria goody bag.
