Santa Maria Community Services, Inc. is pleased to announce its Spring Health Fair. The Free Health Fair will take place on Saturday, April 13, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at ARCO Cincy located at 3301 Price Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45205. Bilingual volunteers will be on hand to provide free translation services for Spanish-speaking participants.
The Spring Health Fair is a free event open to the public and will provide attendees with a wide range of health and wellness resources. The fair will feature more than 25 local organizations and vendors, offering free health screenings, educational materials, and fun activities for all ages including raffle prizes and surprises. Attendees can also receive nutrition, mental health, and financial wellness information.
The event features free health screenings, including blood pressure, plus glucose testing and Body Mass Index (BMI) calculations as well as HIV and STD testing through Caracole. TriHealth is providing mammograms at no cost. Attendees may call 513-557-7266 for a mammogram appointment (English or Spanish). The Health Fair will also include free food distribution, thanks to a partnership with the Freestore Foodbank, and a free hot meal to enjoy at the event.
“Our Spring Health Fair is a testament to our commitment to improving the health and wellness of the communities we serve,” said H.A. Musser, CEO of Santa Maria Community Services, Inc. “We are proud to partner with local organizations and vendors to offer free health screenings and fun activities for all ages. We are particularly excited to be able to again offer free translation services for Spanish-speaking participants. We understand that language barriers can prevent individuals from receiving the care they need, and we are committed to making our services accessible to all members of the community.”
There will be free parking at ARCO Cincy. Santa Maria would like to thank the following Spring Health Fair sponsors: Anthem, Cincinnati Children’s, Cincy-Cinco, Molina Healthcare and PreventionFIRST!
“We hope that this event will empower individuals to take charge of their health and well-being, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on our community,” said Musser.
